Full head tint

Vanessa doing full head tint.

What is a full head tint?

This treatment is among the most popular, involving the darkening or lightening of the entire hair by a few shades.

While darkening the hair with a tint is relatively straightforward, lightening the hair depends on its natural colour. If the desired outcome can't be achieved with a tint, we will always recommend the most suitable technique to help you reach your hair goals.

What are the benefits and disadvantages of full head tint?

Hair tinting provides numerous advantages, boosting both appearance and confidence levels. It enables you to explore various shades, adding a personal touch to your style.

Tinting can effectively cover grey hair, providing a more youthful and vibrant appearance. It also adds depth and dimension to the hair, creating a visually appealing texture.

However, to maintain a full head tint, we suggest returning for a root tint every 4-6 weeks, tailored to your root growth rate. While tints are permanent, they may gradually fade over time, losing vibrancy. To maintain the colour's richness, we advise regular full head top-ups between appointments.

To safeguard your hair during the coloring process, we always recommend Olaplex, even when bleach is not used. Protecting your hair is paramount, ensuring its health and vitality.
